Hi, I'm Avery Cover, and I'd love to be your — or your child's — swim coach.
I've been in the pool since I was a few months old and started competing at nine. Swimming has shaped who I am, and nothing beats passing that on: watching a nervous beginner float for the first time, or helping a racer drop the time they've been chasing all season.
I teach anyone and everyone. I've worked with neurodivergent swimmers and swimmers with physical disabilities, and I adapt every lesson to the person in front of me.
Not sure what level you're at? Your first lesson doubles as an assessment. From there we build a plan together — whether the goal is learning to swim, making the team, earning a D1 scholarship, or chasing the Olympics.

Meet the Coach
Hello, my name is Avery Cover and I would love to be you or your child’s future swim coach!
I’ve been in the pool since I was only a few months old, and started competing at nine. My love and passion for swimming has since bloomed and I’d love to pass down my experience and knowledge of swim to others. I am open to teaching anyone and everyone! I have previously worked with neurodivergent people as well as those with physical disabilities, so don’t feel like your differences turn you away!
If you’re unsure what level you’re at, I do establish an orientation to get to know you and see what service you fit best. Once your level of skill has been established whether it’s basic training or competitive swim, we will work together to enhance your craft.
Whether your goal is to receive a D1 scholarship, compete in the Olympics, or just simply learning to swim, I’m here to help! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
